About Armenian National Committee of America Eastern Region

The Armenian National Committee of America Eastern Region (ANCA-ER), based in Watertown, MA, is a grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to advancing the policy priorities and concerns of Armenian-Americans throughout the Eastern United States. Operating across 31 states with 20 local ANCs and thousands of community advocates, ANCA-ER serves as a powerful voice for the Armenian American community on a broad spectrum of issues affecting their interests and heritage.

ANCA-ER's core mission focuses on three primary objectives: fostering public awareness in support of a free, united, and independent Armenia; influencing and guiding U.S. policy on matters of critical importance to the Armenian American community; and representing the collective Armenian American viewpoint on public policy matters while serving as a vital liaison between the community and elected officials. The organization works in close coordination with a network of local ANCs, community advocates, and dedicated supporters to effectively advance these priorities across the region.

The Eastern United States is home to one of the world's oldest and most diverse Armenian diaspora communities. This geographic, socioeconomic, political, and cultural diversity provides ANCA-ER with extensive opportunities to undertake meaningful activities and initiatives throughout the region. Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, ANCA-ER continues to strengthen the Armenian American community's influence on policy and public discourse while maintaining strong connections to Armenia and the broader Armenian cause.
